In either the 70s or 80s, Caron put out at least two kits for making your own beer “can” hats, Budweisser and Falstaff.

Each kit came with pre-punched cardboard panels with the breweries beer can label printed on them, 3 different colours of yarn, and instructions on how to construct both a women’s hat and a men’s hat.

Unfortunately though the kits did come with yarn, the instructions do not state what the yarn weight is.
