Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Fall 2006, page 104:
Mari Lynn Patrick uses simple rib and cable elements to soften the lines of a tailored wrap cardigan. A heavy worsted weight merino shows off the deep plush ribs of the sweater’s front border and fold over cuffs, and the yarn’s smooth texture calls out cable details that follow the lines of the collar and top the cuff for several inches. A crocheted belt marks the waist and holds the fronts together.

Finished Size: 31½ (34½, 38½, 44½, 48½)“ bust circumference, wrapped and closed at front.

Yarn: S. Charles Collezione Merino Cable (100% merino; 83 yd [76 m]/50 g): #127 blue, 16 (18, 21, 26, 29) balls.

Needles: Size 9 (5.5 mm) and 10 (6 mm): straight. Size 9 (5.5 mm): 32” circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Size 7 (4.5 mm) crochet hook; metal belt buckle with ¾“ opening; markers (m); removable markers; stitch holder.

Additional Gauge: one 12-st cable panel = 1½“ wide.
