Brenda's Mittens
While working on charity knitting for the homeless shelters in our area, Brenda came and whipped up a mitten in 90 minutes. We like that. In fact, I liked it so much I went home and made one from her inspiration. Now here’s a pattern to go with it.
yarns
1 skein total (4 oz/200 yards)
of odd amounts aran weight wools
Peace Fleece
Lamb’s Pride Worsted
Lanaloft Worsted
Cascade 220 #10 double pointed needles
1 clip for a marker
12” of waste yarn (for afterthought thumb)
ruler
darning needle
Gauge:
12 stitches = 4” in stockinette stitch with 2 strands knit together
3 Sizes: Woman’s, Man’s medium, Man’s large
