Breezy Shrug
This is a simple but nice little project. I love how fast this works out. Crocheted from one sleeve edge to the other and finished off with two rounds of edging on the body.
Gauge Swatch (measures approx. 4” x 4”):
Row 1: Ch 37, dc in 13th ch from hook. (Ch 5, skip 3 chs, dc on next ch) repeat across. (7 loops) Turn.
Row 2: Ch 6 (counts as tr and ch 2), dc on 1st loop.
(Ch 5, dc on next loop) repeat up to the last loop. Ch 2, tr on top of beg ch 3 of previous row. Turn.
Row 3: Ch 8 (counts as dc and ch 5), dc on next loop.
(Ch 5, dc on next loop) repeat across, except on the last loop. Ch 5, dc on top of 4th ch at beg of previous row. Turn.
Row 4-10: Repeat rows 2 and 3 alternately.
Row 11: Ch 8, dc on next loop. (Ch 3, dc on next loop) repeat up to the last loop. Ch 5, dc on top of 4th ch at beg of previous row. Fasten off. Block the swatch and measure.
