Breezy Bolero
A summer bolero done in mesh stitch.
(Note: The bolero shown on the cover of the printed pattern was not worn properly, so the look is not accurate.)
Gauge Swatch: Work the following 14 rows and the edging to measure approx. 4” x 4”
Row 1: Ch 29, sc in 9th ch from hook. (Ch 5, skip 3 ch, sc in next ch), repeat across to the last ch (6 loops). Turn.
Row 2: Ch 7, sc on the first ch 5 loop, (ch 5, sc on the next loop) repeat across to last loop. Ch 3, tr on the end of previous row. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Sc in the same stitch. (Ch 5, sc on the next loop) repeat across. Turn.
Row 4 -14: Repeat row 2 and 3.
Edging: 2 sc on the corner, (3 sc on loop, ch 1) repeat across the side, work the same on the other sides. Fasten off.
