Brassica Sweater
Brassica sweater features a body with a lovely structured stitch pattern and has a special shaping where the fronts overlap at the hem.
The sweater is crocheted in pieces starting from the bottom upwards. Sides and shouders are seamed. Sleeves are worked straight on to the body and worked in rounds.
This design has a comfortable fit and 3/4 sleeves and a flattering length.
The pattern is written in 5 sizes : S, M, L, XL and 2XL.
Instructions are in English (both UK and US terms) and in Dutch.
A schematic is included.
Crochet charts as well. (with different charts for the neckline shaping).
Sizing and yarn (yardage) :
Sample made with : Durable Cosy extra fine, 58 % cotton & 42 % acrylic, 50g/180m/197yds.
Shade 2211 Curry : 8 (9, 10, 12, 13) balls.
If your prefer long sleeves instead of 3/4 sleeves you need 1 (1, 2, 2, 2) extra balls of yarn.
Crochet hook :
3 mm - 3,25 mm - 3,5 mm - 3,75 mm.
(different hook sizes are used for the edgings and refined details).
