Brandywine Falls
Brandywine Falls is a stylish shoulder wrap featuring richly textured stitches to frame the face and flatter the figure. This wrap is fast and fun and looks elaborate but is quite simple to knit, providing gorgeous results in very little time.
The cascading ripples in the stitch pattern fall gracefully around the shoulders, reminding one of the lovely scenic waterfall the pattern is named for. At this fast gauge and relatively low yardage, it would make a terrific de-stashing project.
Brandywine Falls wrap snugs the shoulders and opens slightly along the bottom edge and it is easy to adjust the measurements and closure for a custom fit. When choosing sizes, it’s good to consider whether you want the wrap to fit snugly as shown in the main photo, or to fit loosely with overlap at the ends.
This wrap can be worn closed tightly at the right or left shoulder or in the center, or pinned loosely to hang slightly open for a relaxed, casual look. Although designed to be worn closed with a shawl pin, stick, brooch or other fastener, it also looks cute when closed with a button and I-cord or ribbon tie, or even a buckle.
