Alternating 2 colorways of Noro Silk Garden gives you stripes that stripe, and switching which colorway is the thicker stripes at the brim adds a little extra pizzazz (hence the brain bender).

This hat is worked in the round, from the top down. The brim is knit double length and a 3 needle bind off is used to attach it to the inside of the hat and give you a lined brim that has a bit more structure than the rest of the hat.
