It’s all about the braid. These cuffs are a workshop in stranded color knitting and braids. Three types of braids are featured: Latvian herringbone braids, half braids that resemble chain links, and half braids that resemble twisted rope.

These cuffs are worked in the round from the bottom up. DPNs, 2 circulars, magic loop: knitter’s choice. Choose three colors and get knitting! The main color should have good tonal contrast with the contrasting colors. Main colors shown are Golden Delicious and Ghostly, which are lighter than the contrast colors Buckle My Shoe (blue) and Wild Orchid. These samples were knit with Knitted Wit Double Bubble DK mini skeins.

Green/yellow/white cuffs have dark green as MC, and lighter yellow and white as contrast colors. They were knit with Lang Yarns Merino 120 Superwash.
