This sweater has a classic feel and is both easy to wear and engaging to knit. The sweater comes with matching socks, the Braided Moss Socks. The name for the set is inspired by the intricate growth of moss on rocks and old trees in the Swedish forest where the designer, Lotta, lives.

CONSTRUCTION
The sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The back piece is cast on first and worked back and forth until the armhole shaping is finished, then stitches for each front are picked up from the cast-on edge, and a slightly relaxed crew neck is shaped. Once the length of the armhole is finished on the fronts, the sweater is worked to completion in the round. The stitch pattern is worked across the upper back and chest, while the shoulder parts and the body is worked in relaxing stockinette. Once the body is finished, stitches are picked up along the armhole edge to make sleeves. The sweater is finished with a rib collar.
