Leisure Arts Contest Favorites Mile-A-Minute Braided Afghan Crochet ePattern- This afghan, designed by Diana B. Husband, goes the extra mile in creativity - a mile a minute, in fact. Narrow strips worked in a ripple pattern are braided to achieve the stunning look of this winning afghan. Using three colors of yarn for the braids draws attention to this technique. Crocheted using 4 medium weight yarn and US size H, 5mm hook. Includes diagrams and finishing instructions. Measures approximately 45”x 64”. The afghan is crocheted using worsted weight yarn and a size H (5.00 mm) hook.
Materials:
Color A - 32 oz (720 grams, 1808 yards)
Color B - 16 oz (400 grams, 904 yards)
Color C - 16 oz (280 grams, 904 yards)
2 or 4 safety pins
Additional Gauge
Each panel is 4.5” wide.
