I have been fascinated with the lateral braid for long. Long enough to experiment with it and add something innovative to knitting projects.

The Blanket is worked flat from bottom to top and then the border is added by picking and knitting sts along each edge.

MC’s for body: 1 skein each of 7 colors (1 - 1010.5, 2 - 1043, 3 - 2180, 4 - 2100, 5 - 2180,
6 - 1240 and 7- 2200)
CC for body: 1 skein of color - 2170
MC for border: 3 skeins of color - 2170
CC for border: 2 skeins of color - 1010.5
