Braeburn
October’s pullover is perfect for the chilly fall days as we loose the last of summer’s heat to the winter skies. This pattern is paired with a recipe for boiled cider apple dumplings which includes a flaky lard crust and boiled cider topping that will be amazing on any fall dessert!
Braeburn is a varietal of apple which is making a comeback at markets across the country. A classic autumnal hoodie sweater, Braeburn is worked in the round up to the yoke. The shoulders and sleeve caps are worked flat and seamed in afterward. Set in sleeves and an oversized hood give this sweater a balance of class and comfort.
