This cardigan is knitted from top down seamlessly. You will start by making the top of the cardigan by making increases on each side of the raglan.
Then you separate the body and the sleeves, finally you will knit the body back and forth until the end by including a stranded pattern on the bottom and finishing with ribs.
The sleeves will be knitted in the round, also including a stranded pattern at the bottom and ending with ribs.
Then you will pick up stitches all around the cardigan to make the button band and the rib neckline.

Yarn: approximately 820 (820, 930, 985)985, 1100, 1100 yards; 750 (750, 850, 900)900, 1000, 1000 meters for main color and 165 yards; 150 meters for contrast color of fingering yarn or other yarn to obtain gauge. The sample was knitted in size S using Baby alpaca by BC garn – 100% baby alpaca – 274 yards; 250 meters/50 gr. – colorway grey for MC and green for CC.
Needles: US4; 3.5 mm and US2½; 3.00 mm circular needles and DPNS.
Others: stitch markers, waste yarn, tapestry needle for weaving in ends, 5 buttons 0.8 inch; 2 cm diameter.
Gauge: stockinette stitch: 25 stitches and 30 rows for 4 inches; 10 cm, US4; 3.50 mm circular needles, after block.

Ce gilet est tricoté de haut en bas sans couture. Vous commencerez par faire le haut du gilet en faisant des augmentations de chaque côté des raglans. Puis, vous séparerez le corps et les manches. Enfin vous tricoterez le corps en aller-retour jusqu’à la fin en incluant un motif en jacquard sur le bas du gilet et en terminant avec des côtes. Les manches seront tricotées en rond en incluant aussi un motif en jacquard en bas et en se terminant par des côtes. Puis, vous relèverez des mailles tout autour du gilet pour faire la bande de boutonnage et l’encolure en côtes.
