Boy's Mohawk Hat and Chevron Scarf
by Joy Grise
This pattern fits boys ages 6-14. It is a fantastic tri-color Mohawk hat. The hat has one color on each side of the hat and the Mohawk tassels switch colors to create a fun look. The scarf is a large chevron pattern with an asymmetrical finish.
This is an easy to intermediate crochet pattern, excellent for the crochet beginner who wants a bit of a challenge with color and pattern. Stitches used are single crochet, half-double crochet and double crochet.
Instructions and template for the pom-poms are included. Pattern uses three 6 oz. skeins of worsted weight yarn in three separate colors. I used Caron Simply Soft.
