at under arm 22”
Length 13”
sleeve seam 11”
Materials:
3 ozs. grey 2-ply wool
½ oz. of each of the following colours:
white, yellow, light purple and bright blue
knitting needles No. 11
matching crochet hook
Tension: 9 sts. x 12 rows = 1”
6 buttons.

When republished, as “David” in Vintage Knits: 25 classic patterns for modern knitters, the testers found that a modern 4 ply gave the correct tension.
