When making an alien x bunny you can’t skip the green colour and the diagonal eyes. Bowie is truly an extra-terrestrial character!

Bowie the Alien Bunny is part of my “Out of this World” collection and is also available in my E-BOOK (sold separately).

Bowie is an easy amigurumi (crochet) pattern written in English using US (American) terminology. The pattern includes detailed instructions in an easy to follow layout but a knowledge of basic crochet stitches and techniques used to make amigurumi is essential.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished item. My Bowie is approx. 18cm tall.

You will need:

• 2.2mm hook/B-1
• 4ply yarns/Fingering or Sport > 25g of GREEN, a small amount of BLACK
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi is usually worked in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best.
• Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
• I’ve used the following yarns: o GREEN = Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4 in col. 075 Dusty Light Green o BLACK = Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4 in col. 009 Black
