Please note: This is a sweater for “real” babies, not dolls (although a doll is shown in the photo). The doll is size 6 month.

This cardigan is designed for boys or girls. It knits up very quickly both because of bulky gauge and also no front bands are needed. Buttonholes are knit right in as you go.

The body is knit in one piece up to the underarms then divided for fronts and back. Sleeves are knit flat then sewn in.

Another bonus is how little yarn this sweater takes. Grab just a skein or two and whip up a sweater by tomorrow!
