This light lacy cowl will add a touch of elegance and warmth to your winter outfits. The lace in the cowl is reminiscent of coral and the way it grows, branching out from itself. Botany Bay is in Australia, famous for its coral reefs.

The lace is a 12-row repeat, about average in difficulty as lace goes. There is a ruffle which can be left loose and soft, or blocked into a scalloped edge.

Finished measurements are:
18 inches around, 9 ½ inches high / 45cm x 24cm, after blocking. (Exact size is not crucial. Cowl will be stretchy.)

Note: Both written instructions and a lace chart are provided.
