Borromean Rings Cowl
Evelyn Lamb wrote a blog post about sarah-marie’s knitted torus links, and opened with a picture of the (5,3) torus knot cowl sarah-marie had made for Madison. She then gave an image of the (probably) most famous link, the Borromean rings.
sarah-marie thought, There should be a Borromean ring cowl! and proceeded to search Ravelry for a pattern or project or post and, coming up with nothing, decided one should be made as soon as possible. That evening, she handed some yarn scraps to Madison and asked her to cast on. The next morning, she started typing up this pattern. And the rest is history.
Needles: One 16”--20” or 24” circular needle.
Techniques needed: Cast on, knit, bind off.
For a thicker, one-piece mathematical cowl, see Y x I Twist Cowl.
