Bordeaux Blanket
A Tunisian crochet afghan made with a refined palette for a modern and classic throw blanket
This blanket works up SO FAST! Like less than 10 days fast. You will be using a 15mm Tunisian crochet hook for the body and a 9mm crochet hook for the border.
I used 10 skeins (7 variegated, 3 semi-solid) for the color blocks and border. I used 7 skeins of a neutral (the black yarn) for this fun checkered pattern.
I held the yarn double throughout. The knit stitch is a tighter stitch, so by using the 15mm hook, this helped with keeping the blanket with better drape.
Want this yarn? It’s available until 10/14/24 from Hue Loco. Here is my LINK.
Want my favorite hooks? I used the 15mm Tunisian crochet hook from WeCrochet. Here is my LINK. Use code AWCARVCROCHET for a percentage off of your total.
Finished size is 50” by 56”.
