Bombini
This design has been floating around my head for many months. I love this type of bandana cowl that is simple and easy to wear and a quick and fun knit.
The design reminded me of the stripes on a bee, and the texture pattern is reminiscent of honeycomb. Bombini is the Latin name for the Bumblebee tribe, so it seemed perfect !
You need just 50g of yarn in total, so 2 skeins of the Loft or Fabel in contrasting colours will knit into two lovely cowls.
The pattern also includes a worsted weight version.
You begin knitting flat and then join in the round for the final section - no seaming !!
It’s a perfect neck warmer and would make a fantastic gift knit.
