Boho Vibes
Designed for the Hobbii Magical Garden design challenge, I have been wanting to give designing a hooded crochet jacket for a while so this was just the perfect time to do it. Worked from the bottom up with a deep rib, the jacket is made up of traditional granny stitch throughout, splitting for the back and fronts before adding the balloon sleeves and generous hood. This is a no-sew garment so you’ll only have the ends to contend with. The colour possibilities are endless!
Difficulty
Written in US terminology throughout, you will need to be able to chain and make half double and double crochet stitches working at times in the back loop.
Yarn and Notions
Double knitting yarn (light worsted / 8 ply). The size shown is size 5, I have used four balls of Hobbii Butterfly in Monarch which is a 200g ball of 500 meters / 547 yards each. If you are using a different yarn check the meterage on the label to calculate how many balls you need.
