Boeslum
The scarf is knitted in a simple intarsia technique, where you have a background surface, knitted with Silkmohair only and then add an extra strand for the different colored squares (Superfine Alpaca), so these squares are knitted with two yarns held together. This results in an almost transparent scarf, where the different-colored squares stand out more clearly.
Finished dimensions: 160 x 30 cm.
Suppliess:
75 g Blackhill Silkmohair
30 g Blackhill Superfine Alpaca
Needle 3.5 mm
Colors:
I have chosen a pale blue as the background color.
In addition, I have used different remnants of Superfine Alpaca for the colored squares, where I distribute the colors randomly on the scarf.
You can of course use more or fewer colors, and you can use other yarn types, as long as you choose relatively thin yarn (running 800 m per 100 g or longer).
