This is a very quick knitting project! It is knit in the round, beginning with some ribbing followed by an open lacy pattern on the sides that opens up nicely when the hat is blocked on an 11” dinner plate. The flower is created using a twisted cord - the directions for making it are very detailed in the pattern. I knew it was a hit when my niece put it on her head and declared, “This hat is BODACIOUS!!”
