DESCRIPTION
This all-over lacy ribbed polo is the retro knit you didn’t know you needed to sharpen up your summer wardrobe. Throw it on over a tank for a day of iced coffee, card games, and gossip in the park with friends, then button it up and tuck it in for a cute date at the bowling alley or a sunset stroll down the boardwalk. Knit seamlessly from the top-down, the pattern features an extremely simple eyelet lace pattern, European drop shoulders, and a buttonband worked as you go.
 
 
SIZING

All of my garment patterns are #sizeinclusive to fit up to at least a 60”/150cm full chest circumference.

FINISHED BUST/CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE:
In inches: (36.25, 40.75, 45) [51.5, 56, 59.25] {63.5, 68, 72.25}
In centimeters: (90.5, 101.5, 112.5) [129, 140, 148] {159, 170, 180.5}

To choose your size, measure the circumference of your torso around the fullest part of your bust/chest and choose a size that fits with 6-10”/15-25cm of positive ease at the bust/chest.

In the photos, Jaq (they/them) is wearing is size 7 (63.5”/145cm) with 8”/20cm of positive ease at the chest and 1”/2.5cm of ease at the bicep. Please note that the widest part of the sleeve will hit the bicep at a lower point in the larger sizes, so there will appear to be slightly more ease than indicated by measurements.

 
GAUGE, NEEDLES, NOTIONS

Gauge: 22 sts and 36 rows over 4”/10cm in lacy ribbing
Recommended needles: US 4 (3.75mm) 32”/80cm circular
Notions: darning needle, 10 15mm buttons
 
 
YARN

Bocce was designed in Lang Yarns Baby Cotton Natural Colored Sport. This 100% cotton yarn is super soft and drapey.

YARN REQUIREMENTS:
(950, 1020, 1100) 1180, 1270, 1360 {1450, 1550, 1650} yards / (870, 930, 1010) 1080, 1160, 1240 {1330, 1420, 1510} meters
