2021 is the 15th year of Best Little Yarn Crawl, so we had to do something special. Our “special” at The Sated Sheep is Hearts. This cowl has 15 hearts around and 6 hearts in each repeat for the 6 years that The Sheep has been open. ♥

The cowl has a trapezoidal shape, measured while flat 18”wide at the top edge and 21”wide at the bottom edge by 10 1/2” tall. This is why the bottom ribbing is done using the large needle and the top ribbing is done using the smaller needle.

The gauge is the same while doing the color work as in stockinette.

When gauge is met, actual yardage needed (plus 10%) is:
Main Color - 235 yds
Contrast Color - 145 yds.
