Skill level: Advanced Beginner
Blurred Lines is a classic and comfortable sweater with textural stripes. This casual drop-shoulder pullover is worked in DK weight. The slightly oversized look pairs well with jeans or shorts, and even looks great worn to work with slacks and flats. With a long repeat of rows, the stitch pattern feels fresh as you work it, which keeps the otherwise simple knit engaging and fun.
Construction Details:
Blurred Lines is worked from the bottom towards the shoulders in four separate pieces. After working the body and seaming the shoulders, stitches are picked up around the neckline for the neck. Sleeves are worked flat and seamed into the sweater. There are adaptations written in the pattern for working the body and sleeves in the round.
There is a series of tutorial videos for learning how to seam this specific sweater together. They can be accessed here.
