Cozy garter stitch and simple lace come together in this elegant shawl.

Blue Yonder begins with just two stitches, then gradually grows into a right triangle. The size is easy to customize as you go, so that you can make the most of your beautiful yarn.

And the lace is so much fun! It has a quick six-stitch repeat with only two rows involving yarn overs, and the outcome is absolutely lovely.

Although the pattern calls for sport-weight yarn, you can easily substitute DK or fingering. Just choose an appropriate needle size and follow the customization instructions until you are happy with the dimensions.

Instructions are fully written, with one optional chart.

Measurements

66”/168 cm wingspan

Blocked Gauge

19 stitches and 27 rows = 4”/10 cm in garter stitch using US 5/3.75 mm needle

Gauge is not critical, but yardage requirements and finished measurements will vary if your gauge differs.
