Blue Split is a sweater with a pleasant fit. Slim through the shoulders, it gives you a young silhouette while the split ensures comfortable width in the hip. It is designed for a light yarn with a soft touch that supports the drape.

The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. After completing the raglan increases, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold and the body is worked in the round working some increases for a slight A-line shaping to the start of the split. Now additional stitches are picked up and the piece is worked in rows to the hem.
Then the sleeve stitches are picked up again and worked top down in the round to the end.

Bust circumference of the finished sweater:
88 (94, 98, 105, 113, 120, 128) cm / 35 (37, 39, 42, 45, 48, 51)”;
to fit bust 80 (85, 90, 97.5, 105, 112.5, 120) cm / 32 (34, 36, 39, 42, 45, 48)”.
The sweater is designed to be worn with 6-7.5 cm / 2.5-3” of positive ease. The positive ease is already built into each size. Shown in size S.

Yarn
Linny by Samelin Dyeworks (50 % baby alpaca, 25 % linen, 25 % silk) 400 m (437 yds)/ 100 g
3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5) skeins, sample uses colour “Jeans”
or approx. 1000 (1100, 1280, 1450, 1540, 1690, 1760) m / 1094 (1203, 1400, 1586, 1684, 1848, 1925) yds of a similar yarn that gives you the correct gauge.
Please keep in mind that yardage is an estimate!

Needles
Two 3.0 mm (US 2.5) 80 cm (32”) circular needles for body.
3.0 mm (US 2.5) DPNs for sleeves.
2.75 mm (US 2) 40 cm (16”) circular needle for neckband.
2.5 mm (US 1.5) DPNs for picking up stitches and sleeves ribbing.

Gauge
24 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) in Stockinette stitch using larger needles after blocking.

Blue Split ist ein Pullover mit bequemer Passform. Schmal an den Schultern gibt er eine jugendliche Silhouette, während der Schlitz an den Hüften für bequeme Weite sorgt. Er ist für ein leichtes Garn mit weichem Griff entworfen, das den Fall des Pullovers unterstützt.

Der Pullover ist nahtlos von oben gestrickt. Nachdem die Raglanzunahmen beendet sind, werden die Ärmelmaschen stillgelegt. Der Body wird mit einigen Zunahmen für eine leichte A-Form in Runden bis zum Beginn des Schlitzes gestrickt. Nun werden zusätzliche Maschen aufgenommen und das Strickstück weiter in Reihen bis zum Rand gearbeitet.
Danach werden die Ärmelmaschen wieder aufgenommen und bis zum Rand in Runden gestrickt.

Brustumfang des fertigen Pullovers:

passend für eine Brustgröße von: 80 (85, 90, 97.5, 105, 112.5, 120) cm.
Der Pullover wird mit einer zusätzlichen Weite von 6 - 7,5 cm getragen, die in jede Größe schon einberechnet ist. Der Musterpullover ist Größe S.

Nadeln
Zwei 3,0 mm 80 cm Rundstricknadeln für den Body.
3,0 mm Nadelspiel für die Ärmel.
2,75 mm 40 cm Rundstricknadel für den Ausschnittrand.
2,5 mm Nadelspiel zum Aufnehmen von Maschen und das Ärmelbündchen.

Maschenprobe
24 M x 36 R = 10 x 10 cm im Muster Glattrechts mit größter Nadelstärke nach dem Spannen.
