Blue Ridge Mountains shawl
Here’s the November entry in the Brigid Collection: Blue Ridge Mountains shawl. Many of the Irish immigrants settled the Blue Ridge and nearby Smoky Mountain ranges … populating this rugged area and holding on with an Irish-tenacity that legends are made of! This shawl salutes these beautiful mountains and the folks who populated them.
A simple pattern with enough change-ups to make it interesting and the beautifully shaded blues of the washable-worsted wool make this a shawl that is gorgeous and unique … and really fun to knit.
Directions are both charted and knitted.
Knit all in one piece
Blocking makes the pattern-stitch really POP!
