About this pattern
An elegant and simple wrap that will look lovely as well as keeping you warm on those misty mornings. Primarily garter stitch with a few tricks along the way.

Yarn

  • The sample was knit with Cauldron’s Path Yarns Sunrises in Mist (Color A), Fog (Color B), Storm Clouds (Color C), and Morning Blue (Color CC). (fingering weight, 100 grams, 475 yards each) and used 1250 yards
  • You can use 2 colors instead of 4, and replace Color B and Color C with Color A. You will need more than one skein of Color A, however, unless you plan on a smaller shawl.
  • You can use up your scraps for the “valleys” by using them for Color CC.

Notions

  • Needles used in grey sample: US 6 (4.0 mm)
  • Four main stitch markers, a removable stitch marker (to indicate the front of your work), several CC markers
  • Tapestry needle (to weave in ends)
  • Blocking pins or wires
