Blue Hour

This design was originally designed for By Hand Serial #15.
The ocean seems somehow more blue in Rhode Island, and ships tucked into harbor form beautiful wake patterns as they move quietly from the peace of the marina. Late in the day, the blue is reflected against the sky, creating a period photographers know as The Blue Hour--the moment right after the sun has set, and light is fading from the world. The silhouette of this boxy top is enhanced by the raised stripes and slipped stitch details that run the length of the body. We’ve showcased this piece in a trendy, cropped length easily modified to suit your style.
