The pattern, like many Phildar patterns, contains instructions for two other yarns as well:

1) Pegase+, requiring 7-12 balls with gauge 19 st and 27 rows to 10cm on 4mm needles.

2) Pure Laine 3,5, requiring 6-10 balls with gauge 21 st and 30 rows to 10cm, on 3.5mm needles.
