Bloom Where You Are is a hat celebrating where you are, just the way you are, whether or not you feel firmly planted.
We tend to postpone joy and happiness until life is not so messy, the world is a better place, mental health is not causing issues, our bodies are in better shape, our location is different, and so on.
But time is flying by, and we must remember that joy and happiness can come in small doses, in little fleeting moments, amidst all the mess. And when we focus solely on getting things done, for ourselves or others, we miss these important moments.
Moments like putting things on hold to do a silly dance in silly clothes with our kiddos, going for a bike ride with family even though our to-do lists are nowhere near done, or practicing and learning to play an instrument even though there are more practical things we could be spending our time with.
I hope this hat will be a reminder for you to make space for joy!
