Blaze Fell, on the North Eastern outskirts of the Lake District, is right on my doorstep, and for years the view has lifted my spirits. Here’s my knitted interpretation of the crisscrossing fields and woodlands, worked in a three colour intarsia, each colour having a different texture (stocking stitch, moss stitch, reverse stocking stitch).
The cushion has the pattern reversed on the back, and is made up with a zip fastening, to fit a 16” pad.
