From pages 104 - 105:

The black-billed magpie (Pica Pica) is one of our favorite birds. In real life, they are much bigger than the other birds we’ve been inspired by but we knitted this one the same size as usual. It has been embellished with dark green and blue sequins.

This bird begins with 32 rounds for the tail as opposed to the others, most of which begin with 14 rounds.

Arne & Carlos have a great video where they explain how to crochet the beaks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJTiT9z7BB0. While you’re there, check out other videos about the birds, such as how to make little footed stands for them.
