Black bears are the second largest land mammals in my part of the New York. There a population in the hills above my home.

16.51 x 11.43 cm in worsted weight yarn 6.5 x 4.5 inches
with F/3.75mm hook and approximately 25 yards.

You may use any yarn and hook combination -- a hook one to two sizes smaller than that recommended for the yarn weight. The fabric gauge is worked firmly.
