Adding the strength of tencel to the versatility and coolness of cotton results in a wonderfully durable, univerasally wearable pair of hand-knitted socks. The design is named for the colorway I created especially for this pattern, but the knitter is by no means limited to using the Black and Red All Over Cotton-tencel blend.

Let me create your unique kit for you! Simply choose from among any of my cotton or Merino yarns and I will couple it with any of the tencel threads you choose. The kit will include the yarn, the pattern and the elastic needed for securing the cuffs (if using cotton). The instructions include specific instructions for three different sizes (Teen/Woman S, M, and L), but you can further adjust sizing, easily, by changing needle size.

Notice I worked the heel and sole with the “wrong side” out. This allows the stockinette side (generally seen as the right side) to be inside, close to the skin for a smoother feel. Also, I have included the option for a secret pocket that is just big enough to hold a key, some cash or other small valuables. Fold the top cuff down to cover the pocket opening for added security.
