Bitty Bonnie the Chicken
Meet Bitty Bonnie the Chicken, a plucky, clucky little hen small enough to nest in the palm of your hand.
She can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through.
My Bitty Bonnie is made in Vanna’s Choice Solids using three colors. You only need a little bit of each color-- perfect for scrap-busting!
- Duckie (40 yards)
- Scarlet (Less than 10 yards)
- Toffee (Less than 5 yards)
Bitty Bonnie is an advanced beginner-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, single crochet into the bottom of a foundation chain, increases, decreases, joining pieces together with crochet, and some seaming.
The pattern has plenty of progress photos to help you along your way to making your bitty chicken.
Looking for something a little bigger and cuddlier? Be sure to check out her big sister, Bonnie the Chicken.
