Bitsy Teddy
This pattern has been discontinued - however the joint pattern of both the boy and girl teddy is in available here-
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bitsy-teddy-bears
Bitsy Teddy is small enough for little hands to hold and cuddle. His clothes are removable, so little folk can enjoy dressing him in his sweater and trousers, then Bitsy Teddy can enjoy all their adventures together.
Bitsy Bear’s head and body are knitted in a single piece with simple shaping.
All the pieces are worked flat and then seamed.
Bitsy teddy’s sweater is knitted flat in a single piece from the top down and seamed at the back. His trousers are knitted from the top down and divided to create the leg sections
If you are new to top down patterns this is a nice first project, stitch markers help track the shaping. I explain each step row by row to guide you.
Standard knitting are used through-out- however please be sure to use M1(make 1) when increasing, otherwise your stitch count will be incorrect.
This 8-page pattern has two sections, Part A covers making your teddy, part B covers making his clothes. Each section includes full details to guide you through making up and finishing with photos to illustrate key points.
