It’s time to celebrate! And we all know a good party needs great guests and a delicious cake. This little cake is actually a box that can be filled with a tiny party amigurumi. You can make a mouse, a pig, or a rabbit or customize it if you’d prefer, that can fit inside the cake.

The pattern is written in U.S. terminology. The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you may want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep your tension tight throughout each piece. Easter Bunny measures approx. 12.5 cm (5 in) when using the same yarn and tools indicated below.

• Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4, 100% cotton yarn, 50g /170m, in Pink (approx. 12g), Off-white (approx. 12g), Teal (approx. 2g), Yellow (approx. 1g), and desired colors for the surprise pets
• 2.5mm crochet hook
• Craft pipe cleaner
• Black embroidery thread
• Cardboard, white and pink felt, and craft glue (optional)
