This cake hat would make a great birthday gift for any age, but I like having them here for everybody in my family to wear on their birthday. This pattern is written as a “one size fits most” but if you need to make it bigger or smaller it wouldn’t be difficult. You can use any worsted weight yarn to make this hat, and it doesn’t take much yarn.
