BIRKENZWEIG tee is an elegant and slightly playful design with a classic raglan top down construction. It is inspired by chilly Nordic summer days as well as by the birch trees in the woods or in a city park. The name BIRKENZWEIG means birch branch in German. Enjoy wearing it on long walks in nature or spending time outside with friends on a long summer day.

The tee is knitted top down seamlessly. The neck part is worked flat, using German Short Rows method for shaping the back neck part. After that the design is knitted in rounds. The raglan lines at the yoke are knitted with a beautiful and easy to knit Lace Leaf pattern. All other parts are knitted in simple and plane Stockinette Stitch to create a texture contrast. After dividing the garment in body and sleeve it is continued in Stockinette Stitch. All edges are knitted with 1x1 ribbing.

The pattern contains a step by step description, a chart for the lace pattern, a schematic and knitting tutorials (photos and text).

Das Shirt BIRKENZWEIG ist ein elegantes und leicht verspieltes Design mit einem klassischen Raglan von oben Schnitt. Es wurde von kühlen, nordischen Sommertagen und den Birkenbäumen in den Wäldern bzw. Parks inspiriert.

Das Shirt wird von oben nach unten in Runden gestrickt. Als erstes wird der Nackenbereich mit Hilfe von verkürzten Reihen geformt und anschließend die Raglanpasse gearbeitet. Die Raglanlinien werden im schönen und leicht zu merkenden Lochmuster gestrickt. Der Rest vom Shirt ist im schlichten Glatt Rechts Muster als Kontrast zum verspielten Lochmuster gearbeitet. Nach der Aufteilung in Ärmel und Körper wird das Design nur noch im Glatt Rechts Muster gestrickt. Alle Bündchen sind in einem Rippenmuster gestrickt.

Die Anleitung beinhaltet eine „Schritt für Schritt“ Beschreibung, ein Strickdiagramm für das Lochmuster, eine Schnittskizze und Strick-Tutorials (Foto und Text).
