I wanted to make my grandson a fun chickie hat for his first Easter. I LOVE owl hats so I had to make one of those too.
The pattern includes instructions for a rounded and square top hats.
Easy, quick and fun to make!

Make a matching baby cocoon or set: Baby Owl Set

Materials and Details
Yarn: worsted weight in a variety of colors

Hooks: H, I

Miscellaneous: yarn needle, 2 black buttons for eyes, black sewing thread and needle, tape measure

Gauge: 4” = 9.5 rounds and 14 hdc

Sizes: Toddler, Child, Teen/Adult

Samples and detail photos are of the child size hats. Other sizes will look very similar, but have more or less rounds. Stripes will vary as well.
