Birch shawl
Enjoy my Birch shawl pattern. Do me a favor and add the pattern to your faves and post pics if you knit one. If you want to knit yours like I did from a convenient knit kit, they are available in my online yarn shop Yarnz2go
The pretty Birch shawl came about a memory of mine when I lived in Sedona, Arizona, I traveled often up to Flagstaff and one of my favorite spots was an area where there were a lot of beautiful Birch trees. The colors here and especially the bottom two color border mimic the trees, I think.
The shawl is knitted from the top down with 3 colors and as many yarns. It definitely makes a statement with two gorgeous lace sections, a stockinette middle and then the striking two color ribbed pattern at the bottom edge. A two color bind off for the finish. It’s just a beautiful piece.
The pattern is fully written and includes charts as well for your knitting pleasure.
The blocked shawl measures 80” across the top edge and 21” in middle height.
