The body of this vest is composed of two pieces: a long semicircular strip, which makes up the collar and the front body, and a shaped center back piece. After the collar and back are sewn together, the back of each sleeve is knitted separately and sewn on, then stitches are picked up around the front armholes to complete the sleeves.
