Big Yellow Bow inspired by Emma Wiggle
Difficulty: Intermediate, US terminology
Materials:
 4.00mm hook/G-6(US)
 4.5mm hook/7 (US)
 50g 10ply yarn/Aran or Worsted in
yellow and black
o I’ve used 10ply cotton from
Bendigo Woollen Mills which is
thinner than acrylic and wool. If
using a thicker yarn, I
recommend a larger hook
 Scissors
 Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
 ch = chain
 sk = skip a stitch
 sc = single crochet
 dc = double crochet
 dc inc = 2 double crochet in the same stitch
 sl st = slip stitch
 .. = repeat the sequence between the square brackets
 (..) = repeat the space in brackets the given number of times
Notes:
 ch2 at the start of a row does not count as a dc. You will place the dc after the ch2 in the same stitch, this is to minimise
any gap after the ch2.
 This pattern is not worked in the round, at the end of each row you with slip stitch to the
first stitch of the same row to end the row.
 If you would like a larger bow, simply start with a longer beginning chain.
