This is super fun pillow that will be loved by all. Just looking at it puts a smile on your face…doesn’t it!?! Tacos are one of my favorite foods and so why not make it into a big pillow? National taco day was October 4th so I whipped up this awesome taco. Don’t forget to take a peek at my Facebook page and let me know what you “like”…and maybe stick around by liking my page to see what will be coming up next off my hook. Thanks for looking! Cheers!

Supplies Needed
Hook in size H
Red Heart Super Savor in Gold, Neon Green, Spring Green, Brown/Coffee, Bright Yellow, Red Fiberfill of your choice
Finishing Needle

Terms
Sc: single crochet
Ch: chain
Fpsc: sc around front post of stitch
Sts: stitches
Hdc: half double crochet
Dec: decrease by working two stitches together

Skill Level: Intermediate to Experienced
Must have the ability to apply a technique or stitch to project without instruction given on stitch by stitch placement. Must be able to apply a stitch randomly on project (example for this project cheese, tomatoes). Please see additional side notes on putting together. All stitches can be completed by a beginner but assembly may be frustrating if you are not comfortable with freehand crochet. I feel this project leaves room for “error” without even noticing it or even being considered an error. Remember….no two tacos are alike….lol!

Putting Together Side Notes: stitch count is not provided for attaching lettuce/meat piece to taco shell. Must be able to use scrap yarn to hold pieces together as evenly as possible and apply sc stitches where needed. You will have spots along the way that you will have to apply 2 stitches of lettuce per one stitch of shell.

Gauge: 2” 6 stitches x 4 rows.
Finished Taco Size: 23” wide x 14” tall (approx.)
Your gauge doesn’t have to be the same as mine but consistency in your stitches is important. Must work the shell piece and filling piece with same tension.
