GAUGE:

Round 1 should measure 3¼“ x 3¼” (8.25 cm) using larger hook and 2 strands of Homespun

8 stitches = 4” (10 cm); 4 rounds border = 4½“ with smaller hook and 1 strand Chenille Thick & Quick

Center: With larger hook and 2 strands Homespun work in pattern until piece measures 34” x 34” (approximately 15 rounds).

Border: Work rounds with smaller hook and 1 strand of Chenille Thick & Quick (super bulky yarn) in Color A and Color B.

Finish with optional tassels.

Ed. note: Border could be worked in Homespun using 2 strands of yarn and larger hook.
